We stayed here in April 2012. The apartment is as seen in the photos - no surprises. It was clean and well equipped. One or two minor technical problems that I couldn´t be bothered to report until we left, but I am quite sure they would have been dealt with, had I asked. The location is great for tourism. Just off La Rambla and a couple of minutes from a Metro station. Communication via email and telephone was good. The lady that met us spoke no English but we still managed to communicate well somehow. There is a notebook with information in several languages that was useful (the password for the Wifi is there). The area is full of bars and dance clubs, but the apartment is on the inside of the building (away from the street) and we had no problems of noise at all. You should note that if you are 5 or 6 people, the sofa in the living room is not so comfortable as the beds in the two bedrooms.

hi, the 3 of us had a great time in barcelona and in the appartment. all went well and arriving well after midnight wasnt a problem at all. someone was already waiting there for us. its not the quietest place, but right of la ramblas in the city center close to almost everything and a nice place to stay at. photos are accurate.

We stayed in the apartment in Sant Antoni. Location was great, as was the space, its a large apartment, however on the negative side a few things didnt work in the apartment (lamps and shutters).

Barceloneta Beach 2 We spent a wonderful month in Barceloneta here. This location is fantastic! It is in a Spanish neighborhood with all the activity of daily life. We felt like we were at the hub of a wheel with all the sights at our fingertips...the beach, the marina, El Born, La Ribera, Port Vell, and Metro all 5 minutes away. It is an easy walk of 15 minutes or less to La Rambla, the Gothic district, Parc de le Cuitadella, the Cathedral, Villa Olimpica, Ferran Street,etc. In the immediate neightborhood there are numerous restaurants,funky bars and a farmer´s market. A great place to explore Barcelona from!

We stayed at the 2 bedroom apartment at Verge street. The apartment was very modern, comfortable clean. The wifi service air conditioning worked perfectly. Lina from the service office was of great help, always answering the phone and addressing whatever concern as efficiently quickly as expected. On the day of the arrival, the apartment owner met us on the corner street and walked us to the apartment. We had a great stay. It is in an area with clubs a bohemian vibe we loved it! The Plaza Universidad Plaza Cataluña are very close, along with countless shops and restaurants were locals shop eat. I recommend this apartment if you want to experience Barcelona like a local!

Thank you for a lovely three days in your attic apartment at Ramblas Arc de Teatre 5.The closeness to Ramblas and the city center was great. Quiet despite closeness to Ramblas was a plus. Well equiped except for a few things that need to be fixed like proper reading lamps etc. Wifi worked great.

We had a lovely week long stay at the Verge apartment. A little tricky to find the first time, but a great location for seeing the city and really getting a feel for what it would be like to live in Barcelona. Everyone we interacted with about the apartment was timely, helpful, and spoke excellent English (which is more than I can stay for my Spanish). Highly recommended, would happily stay here again.

Really nice apartment. The landlord was incredibly helpful and responsive. The location was fantastic -- short walk to the metro and easy to get around the city. The neighbourhood was very nice indeed with all of the local stores, restaurants, cafes you could need. Highly recommended. Thanks for a great stay!

Really great apartment, very large, full kitchen that´s great for cooking - everything went smoothly! Lina was very responsive to emails etc.

This is our 3rd, and best, apartment stay in Barcelona - in Portaferissa for 4 nights. It is a very well-equipped, large and comfortable apartment in a great location. We worked out the tv and appliances etc., but a folder with English instructions would be useful. We would definitely stay again!

Lina was easy to communicate with and her colleagues were friendly and helpful in getting us acquainted with the building and the area. The apartment was super clean and new. The location is wonderful; my friend and I enjoyed discovering all the little squares and side streets in Gracia. If you plan on spending a lot of time in the tourist areas like Barri Gotic or Montjuic, get a metro pass---but trains are both direct and very frequent. The Fontana metro stop is a short walk away on a quaint street with many amenities. I would stay here again!

we stayed at the Valencia apartment for 5 days. it was beautiful, quiet, clean and aesthetic, well equipped and the location is fantastic. no need for metro or bus. Vanessa the owner was so nice and kind. we recommend it - only good things to say !!

Not only was the location amazing but the apartment itself was very modern and clean. It comfortably would fit 4-5 people at least. I would totally recommend this place especially if you are not familiar with the area since it is very close to the metro and great shops and restaurants. I would definitely go back here again!

We initially stayed in Ramblas 3A before moving to 3B because of 3A´s proximity to street noise. I have to say Lina and her people - especially Eduardo and Fely - really went head over heels to accommodate us and were amazingly attentive and responsive to our needs and we would jump at the chance to stay at one of Lina´s properties again. It was a very comfortable stay. A tip for the prospective Ramblas guest - if you´re coming to Barcelona more for the sights and not necessarily the 24-hour club scene, stay in one of the ´A´ apartments in this building.

The location of this apartment was fantastic, near the Ramblas and many other areas (Borne, the seaside, the cathedral, Palacio Musica, Plaza Catalunya, etc). It was very spacious and everything one would need was provided--the kitchen was well equiped. Lina and her assistant were very accommodating in making arrangements for our early access since our plane arrived early morning. We would happily stay there again if traveling to Barcelona.

great location! we have stayed for 4 days and we walked wherever we want. it was comfortable and felt like home.

I can thoroughly recommend Apartment in Barcelona, and in particular the Napols apartment, where some friends I recently stayed during a conference. From the start we had friendly helpful assistance with the booking. The apartment itself is clean and spacious, with all amenities and a lovely patio. So lovely in fact, that we sat out too late and woke the neighbours. Still, that was fixed with a friendly phone call and no repercussions. All in all we had a great time - we will be back!

Gracia is a very cool part of town. We happened to be there as the neighbors were preparing for the street festival, so whole blocks were taken over as art factories, with the local folks painting, doing paper mache, and stringing up decorations. Damn cool. This apartment is in a 4 story building with units on every floor, and it seems that many are vacation rentals. We came across other visitors daily. Only once were there a group partying late into the night, but we could shut our doors, turn on the AC, and the world outside seemed to disappear. Definitely a peaceful retreat in the city. Functional.

Lina was a pleasure to work with. She made herself available and was very helpful in the time leading up to our reservations. We would recommend Lina and these apartments to those traveling to Barcelona.

We loved our stay in this clean, well-appointed apartment. The location is fantastic. You can walk or take the metro to all the touristy areas with ease, but you´re staying in a true Barcelona neighborhood. We did a lot of cooking, and the kitchen was perfectly stocked with utensils and cookware for any meal we wanted to create. And the apartment has a washing machine! You´re in a busy part of the neighborhood, but the apartment is really quiet and peaceful. We often slept with the patio door open. Javier was a fantastic host, and Lina was extremely helpful. Both were quick to respond to emails or phone calls. We couldn´t have asked for more gracious and considerate hosts. Overall, I highly recommend this apartment if you´re looking for a place that is clean, modern, and in the heart of the city. Everything you need is either right outside your door, or just a short walk or metro ride away. Very positive airbnb experience! Thank you!

This is a great place to stay, particularly for Barcelona first-timers. Seconds from the teeming Ramblas, and a short walk from the seaport or plaza Catalonia, as well as the mind boggling food market just off the Ramblas! Apartment was clean and well-appointed and faced a pretty block of courtyards. The alley the building is actually on is kind of dirty, but that doesn´t stop anyone from patronizing the bar window a few doors down, one of the most popular around, it seems. Trekkers will appreciate the lift with their luggage, we did.

Lina`s apartment is great! Very spacious and well located. We had some slight confusion when my friend came to check in (the woman who met my friend there thought we hadn`t paid yet when we had, but things were cleared up quickly with a call to Lina). The patio is a highlight. I would definitely stay at the penthouse again.

It was the first time I booked using Airbnb, so I was a bit nervous, but everything went very well. Lina provided me with detail information and options on how to get to the apartment, asked me to call to confirm I have arrived and sent somebody to meet me and give me the keys, show me the apartment, internet access etc. The apartment was in an old building, but the apartment has been renovated, with air conditioned, wi-fi access. It was well located, fairly quiet, safe ... Excellent!! I was there on business, internet access was essential for me and it worked well. The apartment was close to Plaza Catalunya, very close to the University, and I discovered a couple of cafes, and a great restaurant specializing in Catalunyan cuisine ,,,, Fantastic!! I would recommend the place and would go back again for business or with the family. The apartment was exactly as advertised. Marcelo

Além da localização que é perfeita, para quem quer conhecer a cidade, tivemos o privilégio da nossa estadia coincidir com a Festa Maior da Grácia que nos encantou. Por outro lado, o apartamento é excelente tanto em termos de tamanho, design e comodidade, como em equipamento. Gostamos também, da forma como fomos recebidos e da maneira como os horários de entrada e de saída foram negociados sem qualquer problema, permitindo-nos deste modo, aproveitar ao máximo o tempo na cidade de Barcelona, que nos apaixonou. We stayed in apartment RAMBLAS 3A for 10 nights in August 2011 and we really had a great time. The apartment itself is as described in the site and the location of the apartment at the bottom of the multicultural district of Raval, 3 minutes from the Rambla and the metro station. An excellent location, you can visit by foot a lot of local attractions(museums,Maremagnum.Barceloneta.Barrio Gothico) use the metro for the rest of them and you can easily wander around at night doing bar - crawling paying though the necessary attention cause the district is a little dark at night but I don´t think is very dangerous. I think it´s a great apartment to stay and have a good taste of everyday local life in Barcelona.

Excellent apartment and experience. Accessible and flexible host got us to stay an additional 6 hours in the flat as we had a late flight. Always picked up the phone, spoke good english and were nice. The apartment was clean and very functional. The location is awesome expect that it´s quite smelly, but that goes for most of Barcelona´s Barrio Gotico. Would recommend this apartment highly.

Great place, just 4 squares to Sagrada Familia and 15min walk to La Pedrera. Has a super market and fruit place just in front. Internet works excellent there and the hosts are quite punctual. Spent almost a week with my family and kids with no problems at all

The location is great and the apartment is very big so it can host many people - if you don`t mind sharing the bathroom. The bedrooms` interior is a bit simple but OK. The hosts were nice but did not speak any English (the agncy people do speak English.) Overall, if you more people stay here, it is a good deal for the price.

Great place to stay for groups of 4 or more people with lot of space! Has all the equipment you can dream of. The metro is not far away (Tetuan) and a supermarket provides you with beer and more you could need. There are not so many restaurants around in this area.

This is the perfect location for people looking for a nice and affordable spot in the very center of Barcelona. The apartment is cosy, in pretty good conditon and has everything needed. The location is just great, 30 sec from la Rambla, 3 mins away from metro station. The street where it´s located is not that noisy actually but it´s true there is a disco next to that opens from times to times, so I would recommend this appartment for these kind of people looking to enjoy barcelona nightlife as well as the usual visits.

We stayed in Gaudi 1 the first week of June´11. Exactly as advertised. One of the best finds we´ve ever stayed at in Europe. Plenty of space and the back patio was awesome. Kitchen was well equipped and also had a pretty nice view. We will stay there again on our next visit to Barcelona!

auf jeden fall empfehlenswertes appartment mit top lage!!! wir waren 7 mädls und hatten alle genug platzt...auch zum schlafen und mit all unserem gewand! die vermieterin war sehr freundlich (wir kamen erst um ca. 1:00 in der früh an!), einziges problem könnte die sprache sein: eine freundin von mir kommt aus chile, deswegen konnte sie für uns übersetzen, sont wäre das etwas schwierig gewesen! ein weiterer pluspunkt ist, dass wirklich keine zusätzlichen kosten dazugekommen sind...alles war so, wie vorher ausgemacht! und wegen der kaution gab es keine probleme! ab- und anreise waren sehr angenehm! einziger kleiner minuspunkt: die kleine seitengasse, in der das appartment liegt, wirkt ein bissichen schmutzig und ist nicht so, wie auf den fotos dargestellt....das stört aber keineswegs, weil man 3 meter gehen muss und man schon direkt auf der ramblas ist!

The apartment Ramblas Arc de Teatre Penthouse worked out great. Lots of room to spread out, close to everything....very nice. The apartment is just 100 meters from La Rambla but the street is not well lit at night. On balance of course we loved the apartment. Exactly what we were looking for.

We are very pleased with the Gaudi apartment. The views are as advertised. The previous apartment we had booked was no longer available, but they put us in a more expensive apartment and covered the difference. Also thankyou for honouring and correcting the quoted price for the airport taxi which had been overcharged. The driver was on time and very couteous.

We really enjoyed our stay there - and the neighborhood is terrific! The super market around the corner has the best bread - freshly baked - that we have found so far in Barcelona! and three times a day one could get hot freshly baked bread! The neighborhood cafes and bars were fun too- and good for a meal or a snack. We were SO glad to have the terrace! and used it constantly! It added space for the apartment - and was very pleasant for eating and reading . The plants on the terrace are nice- and Jim re adjusted the watering system so that the terrace and table did not get sprayed each time the watering came on. All in all - enjoyed our stay - and were glad that you found that apartment for us - instead of the one down in the old town area - It was quiet -and pleasant - and the walk to the Metro - and to the bus 33 for going out Diagonal was great. Terrasse der Gaudi Penthouse 1 mit wunderbarem Ausblick, gut ausgestattete Kueche, Lage in einem Stadtteil ohne ständige Angst vor Diebstahl auf der Strasse, großer Markt mit mindestens so gutem Angebot , wie der Boqueria Markt. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert!

That apartment was brilliant. We were staid 4 persons. Apartment is in very good location, very close metro station, close to the water. Recommend for everyone. For us was better like hotel.

We stayed in the Penthouse Gaudi Apt #2 - it was our first place in Spain and was one of the best. Thanks to Lina, Manuel and Carlos. Everything went so smoothly and we loved the Gracia area. I highly recommend this place!

I woud like to say how pleasurabe you have been to deal with, i´m sure you understand it can be quite stressfull trying to find the right acomodation, but having people who are easy to deal with makes it a little less stress free! Very nice place. Not in the center of Barcelona, but at walking distance from the Olympic Center (bars, clubs). The appartment is recent, well equiped and, the top, they managed to have kind of a room service with the bar downstairs (you can order food/drink by phone). The host was very nice as well.

I love the flat, nice high ceilings and there are 2 separate rooms, one with double bed, another one with 2 beds and sofa. I think it is perfect for 3-4 people, 5 people max. We stayed there with friends so it was nice! Would recommend!

Lina and her colleagues ensured our stay was very comfortable in the Sant Joan apartment. Everything was as Lina had said, and she was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. It was a stress-free experience, and we thank Lina for it! The apartment was sunny and bright and well furnished. Located very centrally, and a 15 minute walk to everything we wanted to see. Great restaurants and lots of fresh vegetable/fruit shops in the area. We will be back!

The apartement is very welllocated near all facilities, transport, bars and La Rambla (less than 100m!!). You seem to be at home, it´s clean, clear with a huge terrace. I recommend it.

We have been a family of five staying at Apart. 1A for 6 nights, and were overall satisfied with the place. The apartment has everything you need, it´s very quiet even though idealy situated 2 minutes from Las Ramblas, only good words on the place.

We stayed in the Ramblas Arc de Teatre 2a apartment in February 2011. The whole booking process was really easy and Lina was so helpful. The apartment itself was really spacious, in a fantastic location and had a great terrace - not huge, but enough room to sit out, and it overlooked lots of other roof terraces, rather than buildings, so it felt very bright. Overall it was really comfy and well equiped. I would recommend this company to anyone. In fact we have booked with them again for a stay later this year! My stay in Barcelona was amazing. The gaudi 2 flat is beautiful and clean with lots of space. I loved the patio, it is perfect for dinner or relaxing with a glass of wine. It is a great eclectic neighborhood for someone who is independent and likes to explore.it´s about a 15 min metro ride to las Ramblas or barcelonetta area. Would totally stay here again.

I am back in New York, I want to mentioned the outstanding service received by apartmentinbarcelona.net, not only because the took great care of everything, some one picked us up at the airport other person speaking english on the phone and welcoming us and furthermore when the boiling water device went off because a terrible wind they came within 30 minutes and lighted it back on. A cozy apartment in a great neighborhood. I had a wonderful stay with my family.

I stayed the last four days in Arc de Teatre, in a narrow street, around the corner of the Ramblas. A nice apartment, with enough light and space and a joyfull terrazza. Everything, which was promised, was there; it was clean and though I was too early immediately somebody was there to recieve me. You don´t hear the noise of Ramblas, except for some shouting around daybreak. Next door there is a club were sometimes livebands play, but you don´t hear anything of it in the appartment. I enjoyed my Barcelona-stay very much, thanks to FC Barcelona, the people, the fine energy of the town and the good service of the people of apartmentinbarcelona.

We are back home in Arizona after a wonderful trip. Thank you so much for helping us find accommodations. The location was ideal, and the facilities clean and convenient. Wonderful apartment! We booked our apartment through apartmentinbarcelona.net The apartment has a wonderful design, the tiles are very special and the terrace was lovely. We even danced out there one evening. The area was convenient to everything and we loved the park on down the boulevard with the boats and lovely fountain. We fell in love with Barcelona and enjoyed our stay overall.

Perfect in every way! We had a delightful stay in the apartment, which was clean and modern throughout, in a lovely neighborhood with easy access to everything. Despite arriving several hours earlier than expected, the landlord was there to meet us, gave us a tour of the apt., instructions and directions for the places we wanted to go. He gave us a couple of his cards with cell phone number. He also checked in mid-stay to say hello and see if there was anything we needed. It was like having a friend nearby to call ´just in case´. I was travelling with 2 teenagers and the neighborhood was perfect! Safe, well-lit and well-travelled at night, close to the metro. We are already planning for when we can return!

The apartment was very good situated. It was very close to most of the sights, you can reach them by feet very well. La rambla is very close just around the corner. Shopping opportunities are very very close. The apartment was very comfortable and big. Very clean and you have everything there for your journey...All in all, it was a great time staying there. The apartment Ramblas 2B was in good condition, and they were very responsive to any requests or issues.

I stayed in an apartment in Barcelonetta Sept 2008 with my daughter. We loved staying there. The area is full of ordinary people rather than tourists - once you move back into the area off the main beach and walkway. We had a local bakery and green grocer that we used every day and got to know, practicing my Spanish too. By the end of... our week we felt like locals. Would go back in a heartbeat.

We stayed at Bonavista Apartment, and the whole experience was excellent. Location, convenience, cost....all of it was first class. The apartment itself was meticulously maintained. Very clean and quite large. They were great. They helped us out with restaurants, things to see, and were always available when we needed. Next time I´m in Barcelona, I´ll definitely be using them again.

Our stay was awesome (Ramblas 2A). The apartment is in a good location to be close to all the sights, as well as the train station.

We staid at Arc de Teatre 5 (1-A) and had a great time. Very nice and clean apartment, with fully equipped kitchen (+ washing machine), and even a small balcony onto the backyard. While the building is in an alley right off La Rambla, it is very quiet; a prime location -- close to Barri Gòtic, MACBA and many nice restaurants -- without the noise. And you can go shopping for great food at the famous La Boqueria market a couple of blocks up...

I want to thank you for making my daughter and her roommates feel so welcome upon their arrival. They are so appreciative of how you personally showed them the apartment, took them for a tour of the neighborhood and out for tapas. They love the apartment and the neighborhood and your beautiful city. My daughter said how very kind you are. All of the parents of the other students are very grateful too. I plan to visit Samantha in early March and I hope I can meet you to thank you again personally.

We loved the apartment and the location. Our experience with the staff was very professional, timely, and courteous. The staff responds to inquiries in a timely manner, the financial transactions occur as stated and agreed upon and we had no problems or issues arise. The apartment itself was very clean, quiet, sufficiently furnished and stocked with everything we needed regarding towels, linens, kitchen implements, etc... It is very refreshing to have an apartment instead of a hotel, we felt very relaxed staying here and will recommend to all of our friends they do the same when traveling. We greatly enjoyed the back patio and the apartment is very well located for visiting Barcelona.

We fully enjoyed our stay in Barcelona. The apartment Ramblas 2B was clean, comfortable and modern, and in a perfect location, just steps from Las Ramblas, the metro, and within walking distance to many of the beautiful sites and plazas, etc. in Barcelona. Thank you for the great accommodations.

It is the third time I rent a flat (Sant Joan) with apartmentinbarcelona and I have never been disappointed ! The apartments are clean and spacious,well equipped (Wifi, oven, tv, washing machine...) What you see is what you get ! And what matters is that you can really rely on apartmentinBarcelona : when It´s booked, IT IS BOOKED. And that is not so usual in Barcelona

The apartment has a wonderful design, the tiles are very special and the terrace was lovely. We even danced out there one evening. The area was convenient to everything and we loved the park on down the boulevard with the boats and lovely fountain. We fell in love with Barcelona and enjoyed our stay overall.

We spent 1 week in Sant Antoni appartment and its location is really great - 10 mins walking distance from las Ramblas, 15 mins to Pl. Catalunya. Lina is helpful, apartment is everything we need, and it is kind of huge for 2 person, we have a great rest after long day travel; but flat has no view, but it does not bother us too much as we were very tired everyday. The next day of strike (9/29), when we heard the sound from MTR, we knew strike is finish and everything turns normal, we were quite happy actually.

We spent 8 days in Barcelona in August, 2010 with 2 friends. This was our first trip to Spain. Lina was most helpful and responsive to all of our questions. We stayed at the Gaudi Penthouse 2 in Gracia. The apartment was very spacious and we especially enjoyed the time we spent in the morning and evening on the two terraces. We loved looking from the terrace over the city to the Mediterranean in the evening as we made our plans for the next day. Our experience with Apartment in Barcelona could not have been better.

I just thought I would write a quick note to let you know what a wonderful time we had in the Gaudi Penthouse 2. We loved staying in an apartment that really felt like somebody’s home. The two terraces were fantastic and the views over Barcelona amazing. Thank you for arranging everything so well; for being so accommodating about times of arrival and departure; it was really appreciated and made our time in Barcelona wonderfully relaxing. Just a quick note to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay in Barcelona. The apartment was perfect for our needs, and we were most comfortable there. We spent every evening on the back balcony, sharing a meal together and enjoying some sangria while watching the sunset and the lights of the city twinkle.

We stayed for 5 nights in Barceloneta Beach 2 - a lovely little apartment in what felt like a very Spanish area (which we wanted), whilst also close to the beach, other tourist spots, and the metro station. We had a great time and would definitely recommend it.

Me and my family we really enjoyed our stay in the flat that you rented us in Carrer de la Cera 57. Despite my initial scepticism regarding the safety of the neighbourhood, it turned out to be as safe as you told me and really convenient with regards to the location.

The place is great. The view from the balcony, the calm surrounding, the easy access to public transport. Perfect for a couple that wants to chill out for a couple of days without being arround other tourists all day. Very recommended!

I stayed at in the Penthouse Apartment on Arc de teatre in Barcelona during my Spring Break. It was a clean, spacious apartment with all the amenities to make it comfortable. Lina was very gracious and answered all of my emails. The internet connection worked the whole time! It was wonderful to stay so close to the excitement of the city. Thank you!!
