This comfortable and spacious apartment (over 190 square metres) with a capacity for up to 11 people is very well located being only a few hundred metres away from three of Barcelona's main and most elegant avenues, Rambla Catalunya, Passeig de Gracia and Diagonal. The apartment, built in the 1920s by a leading Bauhaus architect and recently renovated, consists of a large living room and dining area, five spacious bedrooms each one having a double bed (and an additional folding bed for an extra person), two bathrooms, and one very well equipped kitchen. The house, receiving much light through its wide windows, has everything needed to have a comfortable and enjoyable stay such as air-conditioning, internet and wifi, tv and dvd player, free local phone calls, dishwasher, washing machine, drier, and the like. Moreover, nearby (only three hundred metres away) there is a big market called 'La Llibertat' which serves the area with all kinds of shops, bank offices, supermarkets, cafes, and so on. Being right in between the neighbourhoods of Sant Gervasi and Gracia it benefits from both Sant Gervasi's posh and elegant outlook and Gracia's more bohemian and liberal atmosphere. The area is also served by two metro stops, one called 'Gracia' (right next to the building) and the other one called 'Fontana' (five minutes walk) which will take you to all parts of town such as Plaça Catalunya and the Rambles (two metro stops away) and the seashore (five metro stops away). All other areas and most of Gaudi and other Modernist architect's remarkable architecture can be visited on foot, having only to walk for a few minutes. If you are between 6 and 11 people who'd like to see much and stay comfortably this is you place!
