A BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE APARTMENT AND ITS SURROUNDINGS

One of the most popular Apartments Barcelona, this is a bright, sunny penthouse apartment that has been completely renovated in a simple, elegant style, to comfortably lodge 4 people. The apartment is situated in Gracia which is minutes away from the city centre, in a quiet, tranquil location and it has a 32 sq. meter private terrace which receives sunshine all day long. From the terrace you can enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of the whole city, which takes in the Mediterranean Sea, the Sagrada Familia, and Parc Güell, as well as the mountains of Montjuic and Tibidabo. The neighbourhood of Gracia, “Barcelona’s Montmartre", is an area with unique charm, where you can wander for hours, exploring its narrow pedestrian streets and lively little squares (Sol, Diamant, revolució, Rius y Taulet etc). It is an area rich in culture with its annual street fiesta, the "festa major” (in mid August), its art house cinemas, which screen films in English, and its theatres and bookshops. This is a part of the city where the intellectual crowd gathers to enjoy the laid back, bohemian atmosphere in its caf?s, and restaurants, and where independent designers sell their wares in charming boutiques. The apartment is conveniently located to enjoy all the amenities of Gracia itself as well as the city centre. The city centre can be reached in minutes by bus, and is just 3 stops on the underground metro. Within a short stroll of the apartment you can find all the necessary amenities, including supermarkets, internet caf?s, and a myriad of bars and restaurants. The Sagrada Familia and Parc G?ell are also within walking distance. |

We stayed in Gaudi 1 the first week of June´11. Exactly as advertised. One of the best finds we´ve ever stayed at in Europe. Plenty of space and the back patio was awesome. Kitchen was well equipped and also had a pretty nice view. We will stay there again on our next visit to Barcelona!

Hello I wanted to thankyou for a very pleasant renting experience which made our stay in Barcelona much more fulfilling. Waking up and going to bed with such a spectacular view on the terrace was so great. The Gracia neighbourhood was fun to explore and very convenient to get to the rest of Barcelona. Terrasse der Gaudi Penthouse 1 mit wunderbarem Ausblick, gut ausgestattete Kueche, Lage in einem Stadtteil ohne ständige Angst vor Diebstahl auf der Strasse, großer Markt mit mindestens so gutem Angebot , wie der Boqueria Markt. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert!

The place is great. The view from the balcony, the calm surrounding, the easy access to public transport. Perfect for a couple that wants to chill out for a couple of days without being arround other tourists all day. Very recommended!

We stayed at the Gaudi-1 penthouse in the Gracia neighborhood. We were a party of four, including two children ages 8 and 5. The kids enjoyed the vast terrace while my wife and I could not take out eyes off the beautiful view. On practical matters, Lina and her associates were very helpful and professional. We got replies to our emails in a timely manner, we also got good advice from them in choosing an apartment. The apartment was clean and well-kept. We were greeted by the friendly Saul and shown around. The neighborhood is quiet but has all the amenities available within a few minutes of walking including several supermarkets, bakeries and good restaurants. The walk to Joanic, nearest metro, is a bit of a trek but definitely not a deal breaker. All in all I would recommend the particular apartment we stayed in and the services of Apartment in Barcelona in general.
