This one bedroom apartment in Barceloneta comfortably accommodates two to four people, with one double bedroom plus a large, comfortable double sofa-bed. It is decorated in a fresh, clean colour scheme with a modern kitchen and bathroom, wooden floors, and air conditioning. It is located in the old fishing village of Barceloneta, a picturesque area full of winding streets, where you can discover lots of quaint bars and restaurants and enjoy some of the best seafood available in the city. Barceloneta offers the best of the city's beaches as well as easy access to all city centre locations. The Old City (Barri Gotic), Las Ramblas, and the fashionable Borne area are all within easy walking distance. Within Barceloneta of Apartments Barcelona you can enjoy the atmosphere of an area that has retained its traditional charm over the years, and also have easy access to modern facilities (supermarkets, internet caf?s, cinemas, shopping etc.). Within stumbling distance are a selection of beaches, the Marina Mare Magnum Complex (shopping center, cinemas, nightlife), Port Olympic, and the traditional bars and restaurants of Barceloneta. Also within a short walk you will find the Gothic Cathedral, Placa Reial, the Picasso Museum, Museum of Modern Art, the Borne District, the Basilica Santa Maria del Mar, the Boqueria Markets, Park Ciutadella & Barcelona Zoo Aquarium (Europe's largest), the Museum of the History of Catalunya, and the Maritime Museum.

Barceloneta Beach 2 We spent a wonderful month in Barceloneta here. This location is fantastic! It is in a Spanish neighborhood with all the activity of daily life. We felt like we were at the hub of a wheel with all the sights at our fingertips...the beach, the marina, El Born, La Ribera, Port Vell, and Metro all 5 minutes away. It is an easy walk of 15 minutes or less to La Rambla, the Gothic district, Parc de le Cuitadella, the Cathedral, Villa Olimpica, Ferran Street,etc. In the immediate neightborhood there are numerous restaurants,funky bars and a farmer´s market. A great place to explore Barcelona from!

I stayed in an apartment in Barcelonetta Sept 2008 with my daughter. We loved staying there. The area is full of ordinary people rather than tourists - once you move back into the area off the main beach and walkway. We had a local bakery and green grocer that we used every day and got to know, practicing my Spanish too. By the end of... our week we felt like locals. Would go back in a heartbeat.

We stayed for 5 nights in Barceloneta Beach 2 - a lovely little apartment in what felt like a very Spanish area (which we wanted), whilst also close to the beach, other tourist spots, and the metro station. We had a great time and would definitely recommend it.

Barceoneta 2 Booking this apartment was extremely easy, all of our questions were answered in a thorough and timely manner. The apartment was in a fantastic location and very easy to find. We were a few blocks from both the beach and metro stop and there was a market and a ton of cafes across the street. It was also as clean as can be! Overall, a great experience that I would recommend to anyone!
